Caren Masem

Mountain WaterfallCaren Masem

Almost beyond reach
pied blue streams
of waters fall
below the bark
of Douglas firs
and fuzzy emerald
rocks along the trail.
Its crashing, splashing
voice calls me to climb
towards its origin,
a high country lake.
